MajorTaskDash server, local-first TrueDuty and a new panel
- newThe server moved into TaskDash. It runs on Python with MySQL or MariaDB and creates its own tables on the first start.
- newTrueDuty works without a server. Time, apps and breaks are saved on your computer and shown in Insights by day, week, month, year or any custom range.
- newWhen the app is offline it keeps a signed, hash chained log. The server accepts only the next record in the chain, so edited offline data is spotted and flagged.
- newJoining from the app with a team code: type the code, then your name, e-mail and a password. The account is created and the computer is connected in one step.
- newSix digit connection codes no longer need the e-mail. Google sign-in in the app opens your browser and comes back by itself.
- newCustom roles with a permission list per role, plus a Developer role that can use the API without any admin rights.
- newPayroll: earnings per person, payouts with bill numbers, PDF bills per person or for the whole team, with your company logo.
- newPaid leave (7 days a year by default), sick leave, paid holidays and bonuses, all approved by the owner and added to the right month.
- newMissed time people add for themselves waits for approval before it counts.
- newWork time expenditure by category (Development, Communication, Meetings and more) for each person and for the team.
- newAPI keys with scopes (status, time, activity, payroll) and a full reference with a request console inside the panel.
- changedScreenshots are off by default. A team can turn them on, but nothing is captured until each person agrees in their own Privacy page.
- changedPeople can pause screenshots for an hour. The pause is logged, admins are told, and work data keeps flowing.
- changedThe default idle rule is now "start from the max point". Overtime is never blocked.
- changedOpening any screenshot is logged, your own included, and you see it in your notices.
- changedBrowser pages are no longer listed one by one. Browsers count as work unless your team rates them otherwise.
- changedTwo appearance switches everywhere: dark or light, color or grayscale.
- removedThe PHP server. One Python server is easier to keep correct.
